On the 21st of November 2023, the Directors of MW Eat, Camellia Panjabi, Namita Panjabi and Ranjit Mathrani, received the “People of the Year” Award for their innovation in the Indian restaurant sector at the R200 Restaurant Awards organised by The Restaurant Magazine.
For more than three decades, the trio have helped shape the Indian dining scene in the capital and beyond and have paved the way for the creation of what is arguably the UK’s most successful Indian restaurant business and have inspired countless other forward-thinking Indian restaurants in the process.
